Details in english and italian about the new International Theater Company - ITC

ITC is a new International Theater Company that is beginning to be formed and whose aim is the difussion of the theater culture around Europe through the exchange of different languages and cultures.

The idea is born in Italy and the company is based in Rome. It will work through the cooperation in freelance style of actors, directors, coreographers , etc from any part of Europe.
The artists that want to participate must be willing to know other theater environments different from their home ones and should be interested in getting to know theater works in other languages.

Castings are not expected at this moment; Meetings can be organized for getting to know those interested in the project; Everybody is welcomed to participate in this important cultural project.

Because of the wide scope of the project, one of the aims is asking for European funding for the expansion of the theater culture and literature around Europe.

At the beginning the company will form different groups established in various european countries, each one of them should be able to organize a show in their country. The importance of the cooperation between artists living in different european countries will encourage the expansion of the name of the company and of the artists quickly and effectively.

The main base of the company will be in Rome and for organizing any project or show under the company´s name there will have to exist the authorization of Enrico Pinna, Ilaria Giambini o Javier Ideami.

At the beginning the company will work as a combination of freelance professionals; there won´t be a fixed salary for the participants; Instead the earnings from each single organized show will be divided between those who organized it and participated in it.
The earnings from each show are splitted into two parts, one that goes to the theater and covers the rent, costumes etc, and the other that is splitted between the actors and other members of the company.

"ITC si propone di diffondere la cultura teatrale in Europa, attraverso lo scambio di lingue e culture diverse.
L'idea nasce in Italia, e la compagnia ha base a Roma, ma si avvale della collaborazione freelance di attori residenti in qualsiasi zona d'Europa.
Gli artisti che vogliono collaborare devono essere propensi alla conoscenza di realtà teatrali diverse dalla propria, e devono essere interessati all'approfondimento della recitazione anche in altre lingue.

Non sono previsti casting, ma è preferibile un incontro conoscitivo. Tutti possono partecipare a questo importante progetto culturale, e noon solo teatrale.

L'intento è di chiedere fondi europei per la diffusione della cultura e letteratura teatrale, vista l'importanza del progetto.

Inizialmente la compagnia funzionerà con varie realtà federate, ognuna in grado di montare uno spettacolo a sé stante. L'importanza della collaborazione di artisti residenti in varie zone d'Europa permetterà di diffondere il nome della compagnia e degli artisti molto più rapidamente.
Se qualcuno può raggiungerci a Roma quest'estate, si può già fissare un incontro, per consocersi e scambiare le idee (opzionale)

La direzione rimane comunque a Roma, e qualsiasi progetto deve avere l'autorizzazione di Enrico Pinna, Ilaria Giambini o Javier Ideami.

La colaborazione freelance non prevede uno stipendio fisso, che la compagnia non è in grado di poter garantire, ma si basa sulla divisione degli incassi per i singoli spettacoli.
Le realtà italiane già esistenti ed operative si autoproducono gli spettacoli, quindi gli artisti dividono le spese inzialmente, e suddividono tutti gli incassi degli spettacoli, con una percentuale da dare al teatro. La suddivisione delle spese iniziali solitamente ricopre l'affitto del teatro, e le spese per costumi o scenografia."
